London builds up for spectacular Games

The International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) Coordination Commission for the London 2012 Games today delivered a positive endorsement of the work being carried out by the London 2012 Organising Committee (LOCOG) and its partners. IOC Coordination Commission visit underway

The International Olympic Committee’s Coordination Commission (CoCom) has started a three day visit to London for an update on plans and progress on the London 2012 Games. This morning CoCom visited the Olympic Park site and Wembley Stadium, the venue for the Football finals in 2012. Over the course of their stay they will hear presentations from senior members of the Organising Committee team on all aspects of the project.
