Venue nightclub was the Best Bar National Winner in 2007, making it the best student nightclub in the UK.

Recent top acts include Zane Lowe and Goldie Looking Chain amongst others.

You can get everything there from salsa to garage, house, drum and bass, and trance. The Lighthouse Bar above the Venue has a coffee outlet which serves drinks and snacks every day during term-time, and becomes a fast food bar at night.

Kent Union also runs Woody’s bar in the heart of Park Wood.
