The Troubadour - London
Welcome to The Troubadour
The Troubadour is a proper café. The last 50s coffee house in Earls Court with a proud history as a low temperature centre of courtesy, peace and artistic energy.
One review called us "the best eatery West of Big Ben", and we are pretty proud of our menu, which is served from 9am til midnight 7 days a week. Downstairs is the Club where Jimi Hendrix, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan and Paul Simon all played in the '60s. Although now a slightly bigger venue, with its great programme of live music and poetry, the club remains an intimate space where artists give their best. The Club is also available for private parties up to 120 people.
If you don't want to go home after a party or gig at The Troubadour Club, or maybe you want a night out in central London then you can reserve the Garret which can sleep up to four.
In Memoriam-Troubadour Delicatessen.....Do what you are good at and what you enjoy. Wine. We love wine; French wine, Italian, Spanish, Alsatian wine. New World wines; Aussie, Kiwi, South Africa, Argentina, Chile, Californian Zinfandel, the sources are now endless. To this end the deli is currently undergoing a refurbishment and will re-open in Spring 2008 as an exciting new style wine business.
And finally, if you are looking for a light and airy space to exhibit art of any sort, or to use as private room hire then check out our art gallery, for any occasion.
We're 2 minutes walk from West Brompton tube (which is on the Wimbledon branch of the District Line and is also an overground station) or 4 minutes from Earls Court, which is very easy to get to on either the District or Piccadilly.
Earl's Court tube has two exits. If you come out onto Warwick Road Earl's Court Exhibition centre will be towering up in front of you. You need to turn left, then after 400 yards or so left again at the traffic lights into the Old Brompton Road. The Troubadour will be on your right after 100 yards. If you come out onto the Earl's Court Road you'll see a busy shopping street. Turn right, then after 500 yards right into the Old Brompton Road. The Troubadour will be on your left just after you pass the junction with Coleherne Road.
